Alta Cocina by Aventura! is a Pop-Up dinner series introducing chefs from around the world and their modern interpretation of their regional cuisines. Our goal is to create an atmosphere, through unique food and drink, that will stimulate thought, conversation and wonder about cultures that differ from ours and to perhaps inspire our guests to continue the experience with Aventura Travel.
Alta Cocina will open in Long Beach, Ca, on Sept. 23rd for 2 nights, but will eventually be "popping-up"
anywhere and everywhere from San Francisco to Chicago to Mainland Mexico to South America.

September 23rd and 24th - Opening Night - Award Winning Baja Chef Roberto Alcocer SOLD OUT
ALTA COCINA is kicking off their dinner series with Chef Roberto Alcocer of Malva Cocina de Baja California, recently nominated 2014 Best New Restaurant in Mexico by Travel and Leisure magazine. Chef Roberto will present a 7- course Baja inspired, paired dinner, embracing his adventurous creativity while staying true to the flavors and ancestral dishes of Baja, California. He trained in Paris, Belgium and Mexico City and has now returned home to Ensenada, contributing to the culinary, wine and craft beer explosion taking place in and around the prestigious Valle de Guadalupe, 2 hours south of San Diego. He has been featured in the LA Times, Los Angeles Magazine and OC Weekly and has won a multitude of awards in Baja.

2016 - Jan 22nd and Jan 23rd, 2016 - *MUSIC FESTIVAL AND CULINARY ADVENTURE in ALAMOS, SONORA, MEXICO SOLD OUT
Award winning Chef Roberto Alcocer will create a five-course Baja inspired menu paired with specialty wines and craft beers found only in Baja, California. The dinner will be presented poolside at the eco-chic mountain resort El Pedregal, in Alamos, Sonora, Mexico and will serve as a fundraising effort for PARQUE LA COLORADA, a 280-acre natural eco-park promoting recreation, education and conservation for the community of Alamos and its visitors. This extraordinary event will take place during FAOT, an open-air, international music festival held in Alamos from Jan 22nd - Jan 28th. Alamos is a stunningly beautiful, 300 year old colonial village, recently named a Pueblo Magico, located in the Sierra Madre mountains of Mexico. *AVENTURA TRAVEL will host a very limited number of guests for a 5 day, 4 night music festival and culinary adventure including flight, accommodations, transportation, unlimited music festival events, Alta Cocina experience and a number of additional culinary highlights.
